Peter Baumann
Peter is an Adjunct Director at the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB) and an Alexander von Humboldt Professor of Molecular Biology at Johannes Gutenberg University (JGU), Mainz.
He is an elected member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and an alumni of the Pew Scholar in Biomedical Sciences Program. Peter is also the recipient of a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Early Career Scientist Award and a Basil O’ Connor Scholar Research Award from the March of Dimes.

Christof Niehrs
Christof is the Executive and Founding & Scientific Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB) and a Professor of Biology at Johannes Gutenberg University (JGU), Mainz.
He is an elected member of the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) and is the recipient of a Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz Prize and an EMBO Gold Medal.
