Scientific Management

CHA's Scientific Management consists of four offices (Communications, Events, Grants and Training). We provide support to ensure that our researchers work in a vibrant scientific atmosphere and can focus on their work with minimal bureaucratic burden.

Amongst others, the department’s activities include:

  • Recruitment and training of junior scientists
  • Career development for scientists at CHA
  • Management of CHA's scientific events, such as conferences, workshops and seminars
  • Support with the acquisition and management of external funding, such as project grants and fellowships
  • Management of press and public relations, including CHA's webpage, press releases and social media


The Scientific Management Department is headed by Ralf Dahm.

Vanessa Kellner is supporting Ralf Dahm in the coordination of all CHA activities.
